Maple Syrup Apple Pie



* 3 cups flour
* dash Almond Extract
* 1/2 cup ice water
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 stick Crisco Butter Flavor
* 1 stick butter

Form two balls and refrigerate while making filling.


* 6 cups Apples (Granny Smith)
* 1 cup Maple Grove Syrup (has to be I graduated from UVM)
* dash nutmeg
* 7 shakes cinnamon
* 3-4 TBsp. flour


Makes a great double crust pie, Bake 375 50-60 minutes

The crust tastes like shortbread and the Maple Syrup filling (yum)!
