1 c flour
1 c brown sugar
± 1 tsp cinnamon (adjust to taste)
1 stick + 1 tbsp real butter (soft, not melted)
1 c old fashioned oatmeal
(Amy also will use, at times, almond meal to replace part of the flour)
Peel, core and slice the apples. Put in an ungreased 8x8 inch pan.
Mix all other ingredients together with fingers or fork. Spread on top of apples.
Bake 350° until the apples are soft.
